flashback: peter hammill - "loops & reels"

punkrock´s favourite prog musician recorded lots of albums. but this is his best one. first released as a tape in the 1980s. unlike his raw larger-than-life psycho pop anthems "accidents" or "porton down" this is no "pop music" at all. pure experimental stuff. the main song "a ritual mask" is violent. a sick fake ethno classic.

beat loops vol.1

150 beat loops i recorded with fl studio. although i´m not into techno or any kind of "dancefloor stuff" at all - maybe you can use them for remixes or your own stuff. have fun with it.

collection of loops vol.1

first collection of loops. i created all these loops alone (just cubase helped me). raw stuff. take it and be happy. i will (create and) upload several new volumes in the future.
life´s too short for boring music...

rhythm ace loops

i really have to start with my favourite drum machine. the ace tone rhythm ace is a f*cking classic. the company (later re-named "roland") released lots of other great machines but this early product with its pure and primal sound is something special.
i recorded some loops and maybe you like them.

i was spending several hours reading the archive.org manual. i was spending several hours uploading the samples and editing the stuff. trial and error. i still don´t understand that page. you can listen to every single sound but only download a zip file that contains everything as "vbr mp3" (if you don´t want to spend several hours downloading every single loop one by one). this is why i also uploaded it on rapidshare.

happy new year!

myspace is dead. facebook is boring. and now i´m here.
what to expect from "sounds of pure destruction"? good question - next one please. i guess this blog can (and will) be a bit of (almost) everything.
Lots of diy stuff, audio samples, selfmade vst(i)s, record reviews, picture galleries and (maybe) some politics. free your mind (and maybe your ass will follow).

cheers.
